IP refers to intellectual property, our specialty. Werks was inspired by Ub Iwerks, the first animator to paint Mickey Mouse for Walt Disney. Best friends with Walt Disney, ironically Ub never got the credit he deserved. In celebration of him, we use “Werks” as our spelling.
